Stop Trial Lawyer 'Association for Justice' Name-Hiding and Frivolous Lawsuits in Tennessee.

One year after the national Association of Trial Lawyers of America tried to conceal from the public who they really are by changing their name, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association has decided to follow suit and rename itself the Tennessee Association for Justice.

But the damage has already been done.

Removing the words "trial" and "lawyer" from their name won't erase the harm they've done to Tennessee.

  • In a survey of legal fairness, Tennessee ranked 22nd in the nation.
  • The lawsuit system costs Tennesseans over $5.4 billion each year.*

*As measured by Towers Perrin Tillinghast's study of the total cost of the lawsuit system.

The plaintiffs' trial lawyers' campaign to hide the truth of who they are from the American public by changing their name is their attempt to continue in their same old ways in Tennessee unhindered.

If they want to be true advocates of justice for Tennesseans, they'll end the injustice of frivolous lawsuits.
