Stop Trial Lawyer 'Association for Justice' Name-Hiding and Frivolous Lawsuits in Wisconsin.

One year after the national Association of Trial Lawyers of America tried to conceal from the public who they really are by changing their name, the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers has followed suit, renaming itself the Wisconsin Association for Justice.

But the damage has already been done.

Removing the words "trial" and "lawyer" from their name won't erase the harm they've done to Wisconsin.

  • In a survey of legal fairness, Wisconsin ranked 24th in the nation.
  • The lawsuit system costs Wisconsinites nearly $5 billion each year.*

*As measured by Towers Perrin Tillinghast's study of the total cost of the lawsuit system.

The plaintiffs' trial lawyers' campaign to hide the truth of who they are from the American public by changing their name is their attempt to continue in their same old ways in Wisconsin unhindered.

If they want to be true advocates of justice for Wisconsinites, they'll end the injustice of frivolous lawsuits.
